Leaving a legacy through my design work is the driving force for me to create beautiful jewelry designs. Being part of the human history of jewelry making inspires and satisfies my creative need to contribute to the world culture.

The inspiration for the “Artifacts” line of jewelry designs comes from several influences; mainly African, Moroccan, Middle Eastern, and South American ancient art. Identifying with these ethnic cultures has long fascinated me because of the intricacies of the cultural designs and for how many eons these designs have lived throughout history. Their longevity shows me that their ‘classic’ influences may live through my work also.

With “Classic Chic” line of jewelry designs, I am influenced by contemporary bead weaving designers that use seed beads to create wondrous works of art, from jewelry to sculptures.

I have made jewelry for over 20 years and have a background in drawing and watercolor painting. The juxtaposition of color mixing and the use of texture in my beaded designs drives my curiosity and therefore my quest to create something unique.
